Celebrate the holidays the right way with Sparkle Sandy Springs! This event kicks off the holiday season with a menorah and tree lighting, live music, a gift market, food trucks, and the Sparkle Parade! This event also marks the beginning of the Sparkle Village that will be on display on the City Green all December.

City Springs Theatre Company is proud to present their rendition of Frozen: The Musical

The record-breaking 2013 film is now an explosive and thrilling musical, from the EGOT–winning creative team of Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez.  Featuring a dozen new songs, this sister-centric tale of true love and acceptance is certain to thaw the coldest of hearts with non-stop laughter, adventure, and theatrical magic. Featuring the songs “Let It Go,” “Do You Want To Build a Snowman,” “For The First Time In Forever,” and “In Summer.”

Roswell Dance Theatre is bringing you another fantastic holiday performance in the form of The Nutcracker! This classic interpretation is a cherished, family holiday tradition. The show will once again be directed by local talents Nancy Tolbert Yilmaz and Mary Lynn Taylor. Gorgeous costumes, magical scenery, treasured music, and exquisite dancing will delight all audience members in this time-honored production.

The talented cast includes world-class artists who have danced both nationally and internationally, alongside aspiring young professionals from Roswell Dance Theatre, the performing company of the Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance.

The Springs Cinema and Taphouse will be hosting multiple movie parties featuring Will Ferrell's magnum opus, Elf. These watch parties will be filled with fun props, a themed contest, and even a "real" snowball fight in the theater! These will be perfect holiday events for the whole family to enjoy.

This winter, the city of Sandy Springs will be installing an ice skating rink on the City Green! Open to the public and people of all ages, you'll be able hone your ice-skating prowess in the heart of City Springs all winter long! The illustrious group of child musicians has been delighting music lovers across the globe for six centuries with their purity of tone, distinctive charm and popular repertoire. The enormously popular chorus is composed of four touring choirs that hail from dozens of nations and together give over 300 concerts a year around the world.

The Vienna Boys Choir is one of the most famous choirs in the world, and one of its oldest. In 1498, Emperor Maximilian I moved his court to Vienna to establish the Chapel Imperial there, along with the Vienna Boys Choir. Over the centuries, the court attracted musicians like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Anton Bruckner. Franz Joseph Haydn and Franz Schubert were themselves choirboys.

Christmas in Vienna showcases these gifted musicians with voices of unforgettable beauty in an extraordinary program featuring Austrian folk songs, classical masterpieces, popular songs and, of course, holiday favorites.

Finish off the year in style with a concert featuring the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO). In its 80th season, the ASO continues to be one of the most well-respected and renowned musical acts in the country. They perform over 150 concerts each year, delivering captivating and diverse performances that span classical masterpieces, contemporary compositions, and popular music.

Directly following the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concert, celebrate the arrival of the new year with a rockin' party in Studio Theatre! This event will feature DJ Newk spinning your favorite dance tunes, a selection of delicious appetizers, coffee to keep the energy up, and delectable desserts, along with a sparkling beverage for a midnight toast. (These tickets are sold separately from the ASO performance.)

Learn about the civil rights icon’s life, teachings, and activism at this family-friendly annual event at City Springs. Celebrate King’s birthday and his legacy with interactive art projects, games, story time, and a movie screening. This free event includes complimentary parking.
