Access to Sandy Springs, Georgia is provided by two major highways that intersect within the city, Georgia 400 and Interstate 285. There are also four MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) rapid rail stations throughout the area. A number of options for alternative transportation services are available as well.

MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) provides public transportation via bus and rail service. Rail service is available to major attractions in downtown Atlanta, and to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Four MARTA rapid rail stations serve Sandy Springs:

• N8 – Medical Center Station – 5711 Peachtree-Dunwoody Road, NE
• N9 – Dunwoody Station – 1111 Hammond Drive
• N10 – Sandy Springs Station – 1101 Mount Vernon Highway
• N11 – North Springs Station – 7010 Peachtree-Dunwoody Road
